“The Voyage of Leise”

Leise is our Catalina 387 sailboat, (38’ 9”);  Leise, pronounced Liza, is a German word meaning soft sounds, which represents the noiseless nature of sailing.   For our landlubber friends, boats are generally referred to in the female gender. She is fully equipped with a generator, watermaker, (desalinization processor),  shower, microwave, TV - (limited to local channels), stereo, air conditioning & heating, refrigerator with a very small freezer, Chart Plotter, GPS, Radar, Auto Pilot, VHF radio, Single Side Band Radio, (SSB), Pactor modem, an off shore life raft (for emergency only), a dinghy with a 15HP motor, numerous other support systems designed for off shore cruising, and most important, and truly appreciated --- Heated Toilet Paper.

Please feel free to join us as we travel on our sailboat.  Cinny, our 15 year old mini poodle accompanied us part of the way to the Bahamas before going “Over the Rainbow”.  She was a great 1st mate and she has been sorely missed.
